Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Kansas City, MO)

Summit Meridian Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management.
