Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Jacksonville, FL)

Summit Ridge Construction is a Jacksonville contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
