Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Jacksonville, FL)

Highbridge River Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Jacksonville area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
