Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Jacksonville, FL)

Nova Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Jacksonville area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
