Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Jacksonville, FL)

Summit Umber Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Jacksonville, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
