Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Sparrow Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
