Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Indianapolis, IN)

Fernwood Orchard Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 125 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections.
