Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Indianapolis, IN)

Greenridge Birch Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Indianapolis. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
