Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Indianapolis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
