Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Wren Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
