Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Keystone Farms is an agricultural business based around Houston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Houston. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
