Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Houston, TX)

Summit Willow Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Houston region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 415 people based in Houston. What you will do • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
