Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Honolulu, HI)

Summit Lantern Manufacturing is a Honolulu manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 150 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
