Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Honolulu, HI)

Bright Cedar Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration.
