Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Stone Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Hartford, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
