Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Drift Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
