Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Fresno, CA)

Nova Lantern Construction Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 623 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
