Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Forge Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
