Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Fort Worth, TX)

Ironwood Glen Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Fort Worth working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
