Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Detroit, MI)

Redstone Quarry Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Detroit. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
