Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Detroit, MI)

Highbridge Meadow Auto Group is a Detroit company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
