Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Detroit, MI)

Highbridge Forge Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Detroit region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
