Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Nest Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders.
