Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Detroit, MI)

Bluepeak Juniper Facilities is a facilities company in Detroit with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 619 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for supply orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
