Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Sparrow Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for cleaning schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cleaning schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
