Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Denver, CO)

Amberfield Oak Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Denver plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people based in Denver. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
