Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Maple Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
