Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Columbus, OH)

Northwind Pine Water Authority Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
