Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Wren Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Columbus. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 622 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
