Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Columbus, OH)

Foxglove Meridian Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Columbus region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
