Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Columbus, OH)

Bright Cobalt Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Columbus region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
