Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Colorado Springs, CO)

Rivermark Juniper Foods Group is a Colorado Springs food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
