Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Colorado Springs, CO)

Bluepeak Summit Construction is a Colorado Springs contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
