Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Colorado Springs, CO)

Bright Orchard Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Colorado Springs with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
