Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Cleveland, OH)

Northwind Summit Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Cleveland area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
