Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Cincinnati, OH)

Lumen North Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Cincinnati. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
