Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Ashton Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 828 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
