Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Cincinnati, OH)

Northwind Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Cincinnati. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 330 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
