Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Chicago, IL)

Summit Harbor Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Chicago. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
