Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Charlotte, NC)

Lumen Forge Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 79 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
