Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Charlotte, NC)

Cedar Rook Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Charlotte, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
