Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Charlotte, NC)

Summit Junction Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
