Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Charleston, SC)

Bluepeak Union Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
