Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Charleston, SC)

Silverline Meadow Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
