Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge Forge Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Charleston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
