Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Buffalo, NY)

Harborlight Vista Manufacturing is a Buffalo manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
