Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Buffalo, NY)

Northwind Basin Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Buffalo region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
