Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Boston, MA)

Highbridge Loom Construction is a Boston contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
