Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Boston, MA)

Greenridge Rook Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
