Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Umber Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
